With the artist's most recent release Human: The Double Album praised by AllMusic.com for its “emotional facility” and “unfussy, unhurried execution,” country-rock singer/songwriter Cody Johnson brings his national tour to Moline's Vibrant Arena at the MARK on June 15, his most recent laurels including a 2023 CMT Music Award for his single “'Til You Can't,” a song that also earned three nominations from the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Touring in support of his 2022 hit Livin' My Best Life, CMT Music Award winner Dylan Scott headlines a June 16 concert at East Moline venue The Rust Belt, the U.K.'s Culture Fix insisting that the artist's latest "presents all the facets that make Dylan one of country’s strongest rising talents: soaring when tackling high-octane, feel-good country with a sense of charm and swagger; yet managing to deliver a sense of sincere emotional conviction in the album’s quieter more intimate moments."

Listed by NME as an "Essential Emerging Artist for 2023," the rockers of The Heavy Heavy headline a June 13 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, the group's Life & Life Only, a debut EP lauded by Pop Matters as a work that "mashes up soul, psych, mod, and a tinge of eerie folk to create a blended sound that might be thrillingly at odds with today’s pop charts but would sound perfectly at home busting the rock conventions of half a century past."

Hailed by Americana UK for her "distinctive sound and her measured delivery of a lyric," rock, country, and Americana singer/songwriter Jolie Holland headlines a June 12 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, the artist's album The Living & the Dead having been lauded by Pitchfork as a work that "packs a full and commanding wallop," as well as "a mini-manifesto on how to weld varied American sounds together and also f---ing rock at the same time."

Radkey, June 9

Performing locally in support of their 2020 sophomore album Green Room and its singles including “Bend,” “Ain't No Sunshine,” “Seize,” and “Underground,” the sibling punk rockers of Radkey headline a June 9 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, the young musicians praised by Atwood magazine for their “thick, slick rock and roll sound built on power chords and hypnotic vocal melodies.”

Currently touring in support of his most recent releases Unjust Intonation and The Hand as Dealt, multi-instrumentalist and Joshua Tree artist Derek Monypeny plays a June 10 concert at Rock Island venue Rozz-Tox, the musician lauded by Zen Effects for crafting "breathtaking compositions - stunning in their simplicity and fascinating in their meditative and even mind-altering power."

Touring in support of their album Namesake that Folking calls "a wonderful dream of a record," the Midwestern artists of Them Coulee Boys headline a June 10 concert at Maquoketa's Codfish Hollow Barn, the bluegrass talents of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, also recent headliners at venues including Davenport's Redstone Room and Raccoon Motel.
