GEORGETOWN, TEXAS (October 6, 2025) — Sport Clips Haircuts launched its 2025 “Help a Hero” scholarship campaign today in partnership with the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW). The campaign runs through November 15 and aims to raise $1.35 million to fund the nation’s largest scholarship initiative of its kind for military veterans and service members.

During the promotion, anyone can support the scholarship program by donating during a Sport Clips visit.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (October 6, 2025) — Bettendorf High School senior Gabriella Wade has been named a Commended Student in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®), which conducts the program, will be presented by the principal to this scholastically talented senior.
