In the wake of her supposed "victory" in the first round of Democratic presidential debates, US Senator Kamala Harris rose from fifth place to a tie for third place (with fellow US Sen Elizabeth Warren) in a Morning Consult poll of her party's primary voters. CLINTON, IOWA (June 30, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits and Clinton LumberKings had play suspended with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning on Sunday evening when severe weather arrived at NelsoCorp Field in Clinton. The game will be resumed as part of a doubleheader with the score 0-0 on Monday at 5PM. That contest will go a full nine innings and be followed by another nine-inning game approximately 30 minutes after it concludes.

 

QUAD-CITIES (June 29, 2019) — Xstream Cleanup, in response to record flooding, held a one-day, region-wide flood cleanup on Saturday, June 29. This day of action removed 216 bags of debris left from high waters during flooding. Cleanups were held at six locations including areas in Buffalo and Davenport, Iowa; and in Hampton and Moline, Illinois.
