Federal HOME Program to Advance Rental Opportunities in Davenport, Des Moines, Fayette, Postville, Tripoli and Wall Lake 

DES MOINES – The Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors today approved a total of nearly $2.6 million in low-interest loans through the federal HOME program. The loans will assist in advancing rental opportunities in Allamakee, Bremer, Fayette, Polk, Sac and Scott Counties.

Artists Heidi Brandt and Dee Schricker are joining forces with the Beréskin Gallery. Brandt and Schricker will be closing their Boho Chic Gallery in May. Brandt is moving to the Iowa City area and Schricker has decided to spend more time in her studio and exhibiting at area art fairs. Both hope to expand their sales to the Iowa City market. “We have grown so much as artists during our time at Bucktown.

This high energy program is comprised of sacred and secular choral music spanning a variety of historical genres and stylistic forms and concluding with a host of American spirituals.

Starting Wednesday, May 2 the right northbound lane of Division Street just north of 4th Street, and the right westbound lane of 4th Street at Division will be closed for stormwater intake and pipe repairs.  The work is estimated to be completed by Wednesday, May 9.  Travel delays are possible.
