Museum kicks off spring with a movie that captures filming firsts beginning Friday

DAVENPORT, Iowa (March 22, 2018) — Families hoping to visit the ocean this spring don’t have to drive far, as the Putnam opens the newest “Oceans” documentary while at the same time formally launching its new 3D system in the museum’s Giant Screen Theater.

“Oceans: Our Blue Planet 3D” premieres Friday with showings at 11:15 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. at the Putnam Museum and Science Center.

The Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency and  Regional Office of Education is hosting its Teacher Job Fair on Monday, April 9, 2018, at the Mississippi Bend AEA located at 729 21st Street in Bettendorf, from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.. The purpose of the Teacher Job Fair is to bring school districts looking for teachers together with teachers looking for jobs.
