DAVENPORT (Feb. 12, 2018) — The Putnam will provide families with the tools they need to engineer a night of hands-on learning and fun Friday, Feb. 16, with Family Fun Night.

STEM-related ideas and activities will take center stage at the Putnam Museum & Science Center with "Engineering our World" from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

SPRINGFIELD (Feb. 14, 2018) — Gov. Bruce Rauner has directed all entities governed by the Illinois Flag Display Act to fly both the United States and Illinois state flags at half-staff in remembrance of Chicago Police Commander Paul R. Bauer.

DAVENPORT, Iowa - On February 14, 2018, Chief United States District Court Judge John A. Jarvey sentenced Michele Lynn McGee, 45, of Bettendorf, Iowa, to 72 months in prison for five counts of wire fraud and one count of benefits fraud, announced United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum. McGee was also ordered to serve 3 years of supervised release following her imprisonment, and pay $600 to the Crime Victims’ Fund. McGee was also ordered to self-surrender to the designated prison.

FY19 budget to fund top priorities through expense control, cost shifts

SPRINGFIELD (Feb. 14, 2018) — Gov. Bruce Rauner today urged the Illinois General Assembly to make comprehensive pension reforms and use the savings to give the people of Illinois a nearly $1 billion tax break. The prompt came during the governor’s annual budget address to legislators where he laid out his fiscal plan for 2019.

DAVENPORT, Iowa-- On February 13, 2018, America Yegile Haileselassie, age 39, of Bettendorf, was sentenced by United States District Court Chief Judge John A. Jarvey to 60 months in prison following his guilty plea to interstate communication of a bomb threat, according to United States Attorney Marc Krickbaum. Haileselassie was ordered to serve one year of supervised release following his prison term and pay $100 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.
