GALESBURG, IL (01/24/2018)-- Bridget Barnhart of Geneseo, Illinois, has been named to the Knox College Dean's List of distinguished students for the 2017 Fall Term. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have earned at least 2.5 credits in the term, with a grade point average of 3.6 or better (on a 4.0 scale). Barnhart is a graduate of Papillion-La Vista High School.

EAST PEORIA, IL (01/24/2018)-- Derek Henningsen, of DeWitt, IA, has accepted membership into Illinois Central College's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society during the Fall 2017 semester. Student who accept membership have completed 12 credit hours of college coursework with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI (01/24/2018)-- Davenport University has announced that Sandra Wohlford of Eldridge has been named to the President's List for the Fall 2017 Semester. The President's List recognizes top students who excel with outstanding academic performance. To achieve recognition, a student must maintain a minimum 3.8 grade point average while enrolled in at least nine credits of regular coursework.

Johnston, IA – The National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) honored Iowa Public Television with the 2017 NETA Award for Production - Short Form for “Greetings From Iowa.” Created by IPTV Producer/Director Tyler Brinegar, the digital first series launched in March of 2017.
