Quad Cities Togolese Americans stand together to support families and friends back in Togo.

Moline, IL. – December 4, 2017 – TOGO UPRISINGQC, a group of Togolese Americans, mostly first-generation immigrants in the Quad Cities, will host a fundraising dinner on Saturday, December 9 th , 2017 at 5:30 pm at Believers Together Center of Christ the King Catholic Church – 3209 60 th Street – in Moline.

Rock Island, IL – As temperatures are expected to dip into single digits in the Quad Cities, more and more members of our community will be struggling to stay warm. Winter is a harsh time in the Quad City area and Christian Care is committed to helping those who are less fortunate. As an Emergency Warming Center, Christian Care opens its’ doors to those needing assistance when outside temperatures are below ten degrees and/or the wind chill is below zero.

Illinois Bicentennial will pay tribute to the people, places, and things that are being BORN, BUILT & GROWN in the nation’s fifth most populous state.
