(DES MOINES) – Gov. Kim Reynolds and Lt. Gov. Adam Gregg announced a $100,000 gift from AT&T at Boone High School on Tuesday to expand the Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates (iJAG) program.

iJAG helps raise high school graduation rates and support career paths for underserved students. Because of its success in keeping kids in school, iJAG was one of 34 state affiliates selected to share in $3.5 million from AT&T.

This is the twenty-first set of petitions the governor has reviewed since taking office. Each person granted clemency has recently undergone a criminal background check through the Illinois State Police’s Law Enforcement Agencies Data System.

As Hy-Vee Says Goodbye to Longtime Leader, Top Executive Is Named to New Role

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Nov. 22, 2017) — Hy-Vee, Inc. is recognizing the retirement of its Vice Chairman, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Andy McCann, following 41 years of service, and the promotion of another top executive, Sheila Laing, to a new leadership role.

Starting Monday, November 27, Jersey Ridge Road will be closed to all traffic between Lombard and Central Park Avenue for private sewer repairs.  The contractor estimates work will be complete and the road re-opened on, or by, Friday, December 1.

CitiBus Route 3, Yellow Line, will be detoured Monday, November 27 through Friday, December 1 as a result of the closure.  The detour for Route 3 is as follows:
