We All Have Stuff Campaign to Be Launched as Supporting Program

MOLINE – Today, Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) announced $112,365 in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). The Rural Energy for America Program was established to increase American energy independence and lower the cost of energy for producers through energy-efficiency improvements and the development of renewable energy systems.

The ALS Association Celebrates Supporters in the Quad Cities

DAVENPORT, IOWA — A new Master of Science in Exercise Physiology program has been added to the graduate curriculum as St. Ambrose University prepares for a new academic year.

The new year at St. Ambrose begins with evening classes Aug. 21.  First-year students will arrive on campus a day earlier. Daytime courses begin Aug. 23.

On Friday, August 25, the Zoo will host our biggest fundraiser of the year, Pints for Preservation! In order to transform the Zoo into the social venue of the season for adults, we will need many volunteers to help set up and operate drink stations throughout the night. Here’s a breakdown of what we need:
  • Set-up: 2:30-5:30pm – we will need 20 volunteers to help set up tables and chairs around the grounds.

9-8 win moves home streak to 10

DAVENPORT, Iowa – The River Bandits won their 10th straight home game with a 9-8 win over the Peoria Chiefs on Wednesday night at Modern Woodmen Park. Salvador Montano earned the win in relief. Ronnie Dawson hit his team-leading 14th homer of the year.

Top Accordion Players Win Iowa State Fair Awards
