 Gov. Rauner lauds tireless advocacy for children, families

CHICAGO (Sept. 11, 2017) – Secretary of Education Dr. Beth Purvis will be leaving the Office of the Governor on Friday, Sept. 15. Dr. Purvis will be joining a national nonprofit organization where she will oversee educational philanthropy.

“Beth has been a tireless advocate for Illinois children and families,” Gov. Rauner said. “We are deeply grateful for her efforts.”

Underwear Because We Care is excited to announce the dates for the FY2018 Campaign. Our fall campaign will run from October 1st to November 1st, 2018. We will follow this up with a spring campaign, The Kathie Gunnare Memorial Collection, which will run from April 1st to April 30th. Distribution to our partner organizations will take place approximately 2 weeks after completion of each collection.
