This isn't your grandma's bingo! Come party with us as we spin music from the 70s, to today's hit music giving away prizes as we go. We'll play the music, you mark off your cards and shout BINGO!!! Cost is just $10 for a bag of bingo chips. Each bag of chips comes with a FREE bingo card. Prizes will be given out after each game.

DAVENPORT, Iowa, April 10, 2017 – MCCQC invites the community to attend a special Saturday evening service to celebrate Earth Day. Worship will include music, inspirational readings and an open table for Holy Communion. Special guests from the Sage Sisters of Solidarity will perform. Following the service we will meet in the social hall for pot luck. Guests are encouraged to bring a dish to share. There will be complimentary coffee and tea provided...soft drinks for purchase.

MOLINE, IL – The Tin Woman by Sean Grennan opens at The Black Box Theatre on April 20th.

Based on a true story, The Tin Woman is the story of Joy, the recipient of the heart, unsure whether she deserves this extraordinary gift, as well as the donors parents Alice and Hank as they come to accept their son’s death.

Iowa State University Scott County Master Gardeners is presenting a “Pollinators’ Palooza” event May 20 & 21 in partnership with the Putnam Museum featuring fun and education for the entire family. Basically it’s free; however there is a charge to view the “Flight of the Butterflies” movie. The event will focus on the bees; butterflies and other insects that help flowering plants produce fruits, vegetables and nuts. Hands-on activities for the kids, plant sale, speakers and lots more.

Description of Closure: Road will be closed for a culvert replacement over a Tributary to Hickory Creek.  The road may be closed for 20 working days.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Wartburg College Wind Ensemble will perform Monday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m., at Assumption High School, as part of its Midwest tour.

Cody Birely of Davenport plays percussion, and Mallory Weaver of Bettendorf plays clarinet in the ensemble. Free-will donations will be accepted at the door.
