DES MOINES, IOWA (August 31, 2023) — This week, the Iowa Utilities Board (IUB) kicked off the first of three public input and discussion sessions (“charettes”) to review state laws related to how utilities set their rates. These sessions will wrap up in early November and will result in a set of legislative recommendations to be considered in the 2024 legislative session.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (August 31, 2023) — The Mississippi River is more than 2,300 miles long, meandering from northern Minnesota, through the Midwest and Southeast, before discharging in the Gulf of Mexico. WAVERLY, IOWA (August 31, 2023) — Drawn by the college's rigorous academics, nationally-competitive athletics and world-renowned music programs, a growing number of students will call Wartburg College home beginning this fall.

At least 470 new students are expected to begin classes at Wartburg on September 6. This is the largest year-to-year percent increase in students since 2016.
