Central College announces the incoming Class of 2027 scholars who received full-tuition scholarships

PELLA, IOWA (June 21, 2023) — Central College is proud to announce this year's recipients of full-tuition Kuyper Scholarships, Pella Corporation Engineering Scholarship, Rolscreen Foundation Scholarships and the Thomas Ross Smith Scholarship — the most prestigious awards granted at the college.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 20, 2023) — The annual bi-state Red, White and Boom in downtown Davenport and Rock Island returns this year on July 3, 2022. Family-friendly activities will take place that evening in Davenport and Rock Island. At 9:30PM, fireworks will be shot, in sync to music broadcast on 97X, from two barges in the middle of the Mississippi River.

ELMIRA, NEW YORK (June 20, 2023) — Shayan Pasha of Bettendorf, Iowa, was among the 2023 Elmira College graduates recognized with multiple honors and prizes, including summa cum laude, magna cum laude, and cum laude honors, and induction into Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest national honors organization.
