IOWA CITY, IOWA (January 20, 2023) — More than 7,500 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the dean's list for the 2022 fall semester. Dean's list status was earned by only 2,427 first year undergraduates during the 2022 fall semester at Iowa, only 1,768 second year students, only 1,503 third year students, and only 1,845 fourth year students.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (January 20, 2023) — Linn County Sheriff Brian D Gardner will serve as the 2023 President of the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC). President Gardner began his term on January 1, 2023. He and other members of the ISAC Board of Directors and Executive Committee were sworn in by former Linn County Recorder and ISAC Past President Joan McCalmant during the Association’s January board meeting.
