The Sage Center, a program of Alternatives for the Older Adult, is holding a Holiday Stress Relief Day for Caregivers.  The event is free and open to the public.  The event will be held on December 17th from 10:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. The event will offer free refreshments provided by the Lighthouse at Silvis, free wrapping of Christmas gifts, and free chair massages.  Caregiver Counselors will be at the event to assist those in need of elder care information.  RSVP's are encouraged for the event to Joy at 309-277-0167 extension 232. 

The German American Heritage Center is hosting the annual Christmas Zither and Bell Choir Concert to be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 14, at the Scott County Family Y, 606 West 2nd Street, Davenport.

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is coming to Davenport and will stop here on Friday, December 5th at the Florian Keen parking lot (Western Ave @ West River Drive - by Modern Woodman Park). Local talents will entertain awaiting the train's arrival.
