BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS (February 13, 2023) — Illinois Wesleyan University's Dean's List for the Fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year consisted of 757 students from 28 states and 28 countries. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight As.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 10, 2023) — St Ambrose University alumna Briana Morales MEd is among thirteen finalists and 490 honorees to be recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) for her significant contribution to education across the state. Receiving the title of 2023 Southwest Regional Teacher of the Year, Morales is the very first teacher from an alternative school to earn the prestigious award.

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (February 10, 2023) — Coe College has received a $15,350 Institutionalizing Community-Based Pedagogies grant from the Associated Colleges of the Midwest. The grant will support the creation of a new Prison Learning Initiative (PLI) at Coe which will provide a range of high-impact experiences for students and community members to learn about and become involved with the criminal-legal system in Iowa and the Midwest.
