DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 16, 2022) — The Eastern Iowa Community College District (EICCD) Board of Trustees today appointed Dr Sonya Williams as the district’s next chancellor.

Dr Williams currently serves as Vice President of Education and Chief Academic Officer at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois, where she oversees all instructional operations. She will begin her duties on August 8, replacing Dr Don Doucette who is retiring.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (June 16, 2022) — The Drum Corps International Colts Drum and Bugle Corps from Dubuque, Iowa, will perform its 2022 competitive show "The Silk Road" at 8PM, Sunday, June 26, at Monmouth College's April Zorn Memorial Stadium.

In addition to the free community performance of the show, all of the Colts' rehearsals through June 29 are free and open for the public to attend.
