Frantzen was born, raised, and returned to Maquoketa, Iowa, where the rural lifestyle and landscape continue to provide inspiration for her paintings.

JOHNSTON, IOWA (August 30, 2021) — Join Iowa PBS at the Maytag Auditorium in Johnston on Saturday, October 2 at 9AM or 11AM for a special advanced screening of PBS KIDS' newest program, Alma's Way! Created by actor and writer Sonia Manzano, known to generations of children as Maria from Sesame Street, the series follows 6-year-old Alma Rivera, a proud Puerto Rican girl who lives in the Bronx with her parents and younger brother.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (August 30, 2021) — The Quad City Storm has signed defenseman Ricky Kramer to a training-camp contract. Kramer was a member of the 2019-2020 Storm roster. The Stafford, New Hampshire native came to the Quad Cities from the SPHL’s Knoxville Ice Bears where he tallied three goals and 22 assists in 37 games. In eleven games with the Storm, Kramer scored a goal and six assists.
