BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS (June 23, 2021) — Illinois Wesleyan University's Dean's List for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year consisted of 801 students from 30 states and 15 countries. The following local students made the list:

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 22, 2021) — Another one of the fastest rising young country and western performers in America is coming to The Raccoon Motel as the jam-packed grand opening week in downtown Davenport just keeps getting hotter and hotter. Charley Crockett — who is performing with Orville Peck at Red Rocks two weeks prior to his appearance here — is set to play the Motel August 6, days before playing Hinterland Festival.

MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN (June 22, 2021) — Emily Stopoulos, of East Moline, Illinois, a senior at Wisconsin Lutheran College, has been named to the college's Dean's List for the spring 2021 semester. Stopoulos is a graduate of Alleman High School.

To be eligible for Dean's List, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (June 22, 2021) — For the sixth consecutive year, Churches United of the Quad City Area will partner with local businesses and churches for Thanksgiving in July, a state-wide, non-perishable foods and essential-items drive. Churches United competes with other food-collection agencies in Iowa to see who can collect the most goods for their community.
