SCOTT COUNTY, IOWA (June 29, 2026) — UPDATE: In reference to the motor vehicle accident on 1-80 at MM 283. The driver of the vehicle involved has been identified as Elio N Garcia. The 35-year-old female occupant has been identified as Axe Graves both of Wisconsin. Mr Garcia and Mrs. Graves were treated at the hospital and released. The juvenile involved in the motor vehicle accident is still being treated by the University of Iowa Children Hospitals.

UNIVERSITY, MISSISSIPPI (June 29, 2026) — Alexis Panther, of Davenport, Iowa, was named to the University of Mississippi's Spring 2026 Honor Roll lists.

Panther, in the BAccy. in Accountancy program, was named to the Dean's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.

To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least twelve graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.
