DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 13, 2020) — The Davenport Public Library Main Street Branch (321 N Main St) will be closed Wednesday, October 14, 9AM–3PM, for updates to the building’s water service.

On Tuesday, October 27, one week before Election Day, Secretary of State Paul Pate will poll students on their preferred choices. More than 250 schools have registered to participate so far.

"Muscatine and the Civil War: The Letters of Daniel Parvin" will premiere on October 23. The short film features actors Bryce Taylor as Daniel Parvin and Courtney Gevaert as his wife, Sarah Parvin.
