DES MOINES, IOWA (October 13, 2020) Thousands of students across Iowa will cast ballots for their preferred presidential and congressional candidates in the upcoming Iowa Youth Straw Poll. On Tuesday, October 27, one week before Election Day, Secretary of State Paul Pate will poll students on their preferred choices. More than 250 schools have registered to participate so far.

MUSCATINE, IOWA (October 13, 2020) — A series of new short films will introduce Muscatine Access Channel Nine viewers and other local residents to Muscatine Civil War soldier, Daniel Parvin. "Muscatine and the Civil War: The Letters of Daniel Parvin" will premiere on October 23. The short film features actors Bryce Taylor as Daniel Parvin and Courtney Gevaert as his wife, Sarah Parvin.
