KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (December 4, 2024) — Carthage College students participated in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) 2024 fall auditions. The Wisconsin NATS Student Auditions took place November 1-2, 2024, at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts. The following students were involved:

Trevor Milne from Davenport, Iowa, was a first-place finalist.

Josephine Winter Roland from Moline, Illinois, was a third-place finalist.

Based on the data in the report, however, it shows only a weak relationship between the presence of charter schools and increases in achievement for all students, which contradicts the report’s claims, according to a new review.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (December 3, 2024) — Augustana College’s Barbara A Roseman Center for Speech, Language, and Hearing is offering assessment appointments for individuals with tinnitus interested in using the FDA-approved Lenire treatment device.

Augustana’s Dr Ann Perreau, associate professor of communication sciences and disorders and the Audiology Clinic coordinator, said the Roseman Center in 2023 became one of the first clinics in Illinois approved to provide Lenire.
