DES MOINES, IOWA (January 21, 2020) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate is partnering with the Iowa Wild hockey team to promote our state’s unique first-in-the-nation caucus status and help fans register to vote. The Iowa Wild is holding a “Wild About Voting Night” this Friday at Wells Fargo Arena.

CANTON, MISSOUIR (January 21, 2020) — Culver-Stockton College recently recognized 229 students on its dean's list for academic achievement during the fall 2019 semester.

Coral Dillie of Davenport, Iowa, was named to the list. Dillie is majoring in Health Science.

Taryn Hutcherson of Moline, Illinois, was named to the list. Hutcherson is majoring in Elementary Educ and Early Childhood.

WILKES-BARRE, PENNSYLVANIA (January 21, 2020) — Christina Stoller of East Moline, Illinois, received the Master of Science in Nursing degree with a major in Nursing at Wilkes University's winter commencement ceremony on January 19. The University awarded 302 bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees at the event which was held in the Arnaud C Marts Center, 274 South Franklin St, in Wilkes-Barre.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 21, 2020) — Instructors from the Federal Emergency Management Agency Regions V and VII will be conducting a training class for flood-plain-management certification in the Quad City region January 28-31, 2020, 8:30AM-5PM, at Western Illinois University/Quad Cities Campus. The course, “Managing Flood-Plain Development Through the NFIP,” is being presented at no charge to registered participants.
