Recently, thousands of Iranians have taken to the streets to protest their country’s corrupt regime.

Frustrated by a lack of opportunity and constant political repression, these largely young and non-violent protesters have stood up to say enough.

DES MOINES, IOWA (December 3, 2019) — Delta Dental of Iowa has announced individuals and families can now purchase DeltaVision, a comprehensive vision-care insurance plan. Since 2010, DeltaVision has provided vision plans for small and large businesses in Iowa. Beginning January 1, 2020, Delta Dental individual and family plan members can bundle plans to take advantage of DeltaVision's broad eye care coverage.

MANKATO, MINNESOTA (December 3, 2019) — Minnesota State University, Mankato will award 1,709 degrees at the end of the fall semester, with commencement ceremonies scheduled for 9AM and noon Saturday, December 14, in Taylor Center's Bresnan Arena on the Minnesota State Mankato campus.

DES MOINES, IOWA (December 3, 2019) — Today, Governor Kim Reynolds announced 22 recipients of the Employer Innovation Fund, a matching grant that helps employers provide postsecondary training and education opportunities for their employees. The second round of Employer Innovation Fund Grants will distribute $568,000 to employers and employer consortiums across the state. A third-round application period with $244,200 in remaining funds will open December 3 and close December 17. 

DES MOINES, IOWA (December 2, 2019) — For the first time in state history, there are more than 2 million active voters in Iowa heading into a general election year. Secretary of State Paul Pate announces that 2,014,226 Iowans are registered to vote in the state. That is the most ever at the start of December prior to a general election.
