EAST MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 22, 2026) — Indivisible Quad Cities and affiliated organizations are encouraging all Quad Citians to show their support for our besieged neighbors to the north this Friday by refraining from shopping, especially at the Minneapolis-based Target Corporation, and contacting their congressional representatives to demand an end to funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the Appropriations

DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 22, 2026) — Luana Stoltenberg has announced she is running for Scott County Supervisor, citing a commitment to responsible leadership, fiscal accountability, and open and transparent county government.

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA (January 22, 2026) — Grant Welch, of Moline, Illinois, was named to Point Park University's Fall 2025 Dean's List.

Welch was among more than 1,400 students named to the Fall 2025 Dean's List.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have a 3.5 GPA.
