DES MOINES, IOWA (October 30, 2025) — Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird sent a letter to the United States Department of Justice, Department of Energy, Environmental Protection Agency, and Securities and Exchange Commission asking them to investigate small refiners that may be manipulating the Renewable Fuel Standard Program.

ANKENY, IOWA (October 30, 2025) — The Iowa Biodiesel Board today submitted formal comments to the US Environmental Protection Agency urging the agency to quickly finalize the 2026-2027 Renewable Fuel Standard rule and fully reallocate nearly 200 small refinery exemptions.
