DAVENPORT, IOWA (December 18, 2020) — Iowa’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate was 3.6 percent in November, a slight drop from the October revised rate of 3.7 percent. The state’s jobless rate was 2.8 percent one year ago. The U.S. unemployment rate fell to 6.7 percent in November.

DES MOINES, IOWA (December 10, 2020) — The number of initial unemployment claims in Iowa, filed between Sunday, November 29, and Saturday, December 5, was 10,747, an increase of 5,390 from last week’s adjusted numbers.
