CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (January 11, 2024) — The Dean's List at Coe is an elite achievement — the college recognized only 116 students for the Fall 2023 Term. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the term and rank in the top 10% of the student body.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (January 10, 2024) — A Monmouth College political-science class will be back by popular demand this semester.

For the second time, the department's Robin Johnson will teach "Film and Politics," a course that examines both the politics of moviemaking and politics in the movies.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (January 9, 2024) — Moline native Braden Frazelle was sworn in as an Augustana police officer January 3.

Friends and family gathered at Augustana’s Hamann Concert Hall in Bergendoff Hall for the swearing in by Vice President and Dean of Student Life Dr Wes Brooks. Dr Brooks commended Frazelle for his contributions to keeping Augustana a safe home away from home for students from all over the world.

DES MOINES, IOWA (January 9, 2024) — State Treasurer Roby Smith announces the 2024 Robert D Blue Scholarship is open for applications. Applicants must be a current senior or former graduate of any Iowa high school who plans to attend a college or university within the state. Awards are based on financial need, an original essay, academic achievement and recommendations.

STORM LAKE, IOWA (January 9, 2024) — Maggie Borota from DeWitt, Iowa, was named to Buena Vista University's Fall 2023 Dean's List. Borota was among more than 500 students named to the Dean's List this semester.

The Dean's List recognizes full-time students achieving a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for the semester.
