MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (April 9, 2024) — For the past few years, local schoolchildren have been able to do various types of hands-on learning at the Monmouth College Educational Farm, located on the east side of town at 419 N 12th St.

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA (04/09/2024) — Thomas Fitzpatrick of Davenport, Iowa, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Fitzpatrick was initiated at The Citadel.

SEWARD, NEBRASKA (April 5, 2024) On Friday, March 22, the Concordia Music Department hosted its Spring 2024 composers' recital. The composers' recital provides a unique opportunity for students who have composed original musical works to debut them in front of an audience.

The program featured pieces by five different Concordia students. Performances included arrangements for voice, saxophone, organ, piano, violin, and viola.

CEDARVILLE, OHIO (April 4, 2024) — In an era where electric cars are gaining more interest among US consumers, there's still a place for gas-powered vehicles. That's why Cedarville University has built a car that could get up to 2,000 miles to a gallon, which it will test in the weekend's Shell Eco-Marathon Americas competition at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The competition is from April 3-7.

WHITEWATER, WISCONSIN (April 2, 2024) — Hannah Gault, an Elementary Middle Education major from Moline, IL, at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is one of eleven student-athletes from Warhawk teams who were named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) for the 2023-24 winter season.

The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
