LAMONI, IOWA (January 19, 2024) — The honor roll lists for Graceland University's 2023 Fall term have been announced, and Camry Dillie of Davenport, Iowa, has been named to the President's List.

IOWA CITY, IOWA (January 18, 2024) The University of Iowa awarded nearly 1,700 undergraduate, graduate and professional students degrees at the close of the 2023 fall semester. Thirteen percent of the undergraduates graduated with multiple degrees — a two-percent increase over a year ago — and, as a group, undergraduates posted a cumulative GPA of 3.22 — another year-over-year increase — during their stay at Iowa.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (January 17, 2024) — A group of Monmouth College students, graduates, and professors will share their findings several times this spring about their research about migrant domestic workers in Singapore.

HARROGATE, TENNESSEE (January 17, 2024) — Jamyah Winter, of Milan, Illinois (61264), was named to the Lincoln Memorial University Dean's List for the Fall 2023 semester. To be placed on the Dean's List the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 or higher grade-point average for the semester. A total of 688 students were recognized for outstanding academic performance.

ANGOLA, INDIANA (January 17, 2024) — Muhammad Osama Mushtaq of Davenport completed requirements for a degree from Trine University at the end of the Spring 2023 semester.

Mushtaq earned a degree in Master of Science in Business Analytics at Trine.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (January 17, 2024) — Dr Gauri A Pitale, associate dean of students for diversity, equity and inclusion at Bridgewater College, in Bridgewater, Virginia, has been selected as Augustana College’s next Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Dr Pitale will join the college February 29. She succeeds Dr Lisa Durant-Jones, who has served as interim vice president since July 31.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (January 15, 2024) — A member of the Monmouth College Board of Trustees has stepped up to fill a surprising void in the genre of American political biographies.

Brad Nahrstadt, a 1989 graduate of the College and a retired attorney, has written Alton B Parker: The Man Who Challenged Roosevelt. Published by the State University of New York Press, the 357-page book is available in hardback, with a paperback version due out later this year.

OXFORD, OHIO (January 15, 2024) — Carter Cline was named to the Dean's List at Miami University for the 2023 Fall semester.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within their division for the Fall semester 2023 have been named to the Dean's List recognizing academic performance.
