BETTENDORF, IOWA (December 20, 2019) — Rivermont Collegiate, a PS-12th grade-independent school, founded in 1884, adds a second campus in Clinton, Iowa. The new campus, which will be called Rivermont Collegiate Pangaea Campus, boasts the best STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) facilities in the state of Iowa. Ashford University invested more than thirty million dollars into the campus before liquidating the asset several years ago.

LAMONI, IOWA (December 20, 2019) — The honor roll lists for Graceland University's 2019 fall term have been announced, and Myrissa Liedtke of Coal Valley, Illinois, has been named to the president's list.

Graceland University students with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average are named to the president's list.

SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA (December 20, 2019) -- Jasmine Harris of Davenport, Iowa, was named to the University of Sioux Falls' Fall 2019 Dean's List. Harris is majoring in Sports Management.

Harris was among more than 550 students named to the Fall 2019 Dean's List. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MISSOURI (December 19, 2019) — Elissa Moylan of Bettendorf, Iowa, has been named to the Southeast Missouri State University Dean's List for academic achievement during the fall 2019 semester.

Students named to the list earned at least a 3.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, completed at least 12 hours of standard graded credit, achieved no grade below a B and received no failing grades in enrolled courses, including credit/no credit or pass/fail courses.

DE PERE, WISCONSIN (December 19, 2019) — The following student(s) have been named to the 2019 fall semester dean's list at St Norbert College. A minimum 3.5 grade point average is required for academic eligibility.

DUBUQUE, IOWA (December 18, 2019) — University of Dubuque’s Department of Fine and Performing Arts will welcome 100 high school musicians from nearly 30 area schools to campus on Thursday, January 16, for the University of Dubuque Honor Band Concert. Students will begin the day with rehearsals at 8:30AM and conclude with a concert at 7PM in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center.

INDIANOLA, IOWA (December 17, 2019) — Simpson College celebrated the accomplishments of 90 students who completed their degree requirements at the conclusion of the fall 2019 semester on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Janey Botkins of Walcott graduated with a degree in Exercise Science.

Camille Schmalz of Muscatine graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology.

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (December 16, 2019) — Rebecca Schmidt-Knopik from Muscatine, Iowa, nursing graduate in Mount Mercy University's RN-BSN program, received her nursing pin on Thursday, December 12. Jim Burke gave the senior class address.

CANTON, MISSOURI (December 12, 2019) — Congratulations to Kaden Schneider on being accepted into Culver-Stockton College's incoming class for fall 2020. Schneider, who is from Muscatine, Iowa, and is a senior at Louisa-Muscatine HS, also was awarded the Hilltop Scholarship, a $10,000 per year scholarship for four years. This scholarship is awarded based upon academic credentials and is renewable provided the student remains in good academic standing.

 

WHEATON, ILLINOIS (December 11, 2019) — Wheaton College student Lindsay Danielson performed in "Through His Own Redeeming Love," the 2019 Christmas Festival presented by the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. Danielson, of Bettendorf, Iowa, sang alto in the Concert Choir.
