AMES, IOWA (June 03, 2019) — Seventy-three Iowa State University students were initiated into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society during an award ceremony on May 5, 2019. This prestigious honor society, founded in 1776, recognizes students for outstanding academic achievement in a broad curriculum in the liberal arts and sciences.

DES MOINES, IOWA (May 31, 2019) — Elise Matson of Muscatine, Iowa, has been named to the President's List for the spring 2019 semester at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. To qualify for this academic recognition, students must attain a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.75, in their most recent semester, for a minimum of six credit hours. 

HOUGHTON, MICHIGAN (May 31, 2019) — Michigan Technological University, in Houghton, Michigan, has released the Dean's List for the 2019 spring semester. Nearly 1,700 students were named to the Dean’s List this spring.   To be included, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. A pound sign indicates a student who earned University Honors, finishing in the top 2 percent of their College or School. Asterisks indicate those earning straight-A averages of 4.0.
