CEDARVILLE, OHIO (June 03, 2019) — Cedarville University Elec Engineering major Samuel Ellicott of Cordova, Illinois, has been busy preparing for an upcoming super-mileage competition. Cedarville University's shark-shaped car, Karcharias (which is the Greek word for "shark"), hopes to finish well in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Super-mileage competition June 6-7 in Marshall, Michigan, at the Eaton Corporation Marshall Proving Grounds.

HOUGHTON, MICHIGAN (June 3, 2019) — Bryan M Heath of Taylor Ridge was among more than 850 graduates honored at Michigan Technological University's Spring Commencement held on the Houghton, Michigan campus May 4.   Former astronaut and combat fighter pilot Gregory H Johnson, who lives part time in Traverse, City Michigan, was the commencement speaker. The student address was delivered by Monica Brechting of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

DES MOINES, IOWA (May 31, 2019) — Elise Matson of Muscatine, Iowa, has been named to the President's List for the spring 2019 semester at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa.
