INDIANOLA, IOWA (April 12, 2019) — Looking for new works from across America, Theatre Simpson chose to hold a playwriting-contest on the topic of interfaith and religious diversity. After reading and discussing 80 different submissions, the senior class chose four plays to help best showcase their talents for their senior capstone. Theatre Simpson is proud to produce these new and unique plays about interfaith and religious diversity for their Festival of Short Plays 2019.

ST LOUIS, MISSOURI (April 11, 2019) — Students from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University recently designed, constructed and performed Photograph 51 by Anna Ziegler. The play centers around Rosalind Franklin, one of the great female scientists of the twentieth century, and her fervid drive to map the contours of the DNA molecule.

PELLA, IOWA (April 11, 2019) — CJ Hunn of Muscatine, Iowa, is one of 20 Central College students taking part in the Percussion Extravaganza at 7:30PM Saturday, April 27, in Douwstra Auditorium. WEST BURLINGTON, IOWA (April 9, 2019) — Southeastern Community College (SCC) will celebrate April as National Poetry Month by hosting a Visiting Writers Series event on Saturday, April 20, at 8:00PM.
