TULSA, OKLAHOMA (March 19, 2019) — Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has released the Fall 2018 honor-roll list for outstanding academic performance. The honor roll list is comprised of the President's and Provost's Honor Roll Lists. To be named to the Provost's List, students must carry at least 12.0 units for credit in a semester and attain a grade-point average of 3.500 or better with no grade below "C".

DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 19, 2019) — Professor and historian Art Pitz will be presenting his annual Middle East lecture series at the Davenport Public Library and Bettendorf Public Library in April and May. Pitz will be discussing the complexities and hot-button topics relating to the Middle East, beginning with “Iran versus Saudi Arabia: What's at Stake? at the Bettendorf Library (2950 Learning Campus Dr) on Monday, April 1, at 6:30PM.

PELLA, IOWA (March 19, 2019) — CJ Hunn of Muscatine, Iowa, is among 17 Central College students performing as part of the Flying Pans Steel Band during Iowa Percussion Days on March 30 at Douwstra Auditorium on Central's campus. The concert is part of the second day of the event, wrapping up performances by the best percussion ensembles across the state.

DAVENPORT —A variety of speakers and topics will be presented at St Ambrose University this spring.

The ongoing debate over the effectiveness of UN peace-operations will be the focus of the 2019 Wilber Symposium on the Christian Tradition and Non-Violence.

On March 21, SAU professor and director of the International Studies program, Duk Kim, PhD, will present the lecture: “An Agenda for Peace in the 21st Century: Do Peacekeepers Really Keep Peace?”
