ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (December 9, 2024) — Ashley Allen will take on an expanded role as executive director of inclusion and intercultural experiences for Augustana College’s newly-restructured Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Allen, who came to Augustana in 2016, will advocate for and develop mentoring, advising, and cultural programming tailored to Augustana’s diverse student body.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (December 6, 2024) — Augustana announces the selection of Dr Erin Kempker to lead the newly-launched Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship. She will start at the college February 3.

KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (December 4, 2024) — Carthage College students participated in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) 2024 fall auditions. The Wisconsin NATS Student Auditions took place November 1-2, 2024, at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts. The following students were involved:

Trevor Milne from Davenport, Iowa, was a first-place finalist.

Josephine Winter Roland from Moline, Illinois, was a third-place finalist.
