PRINCETON, IOWA (October 14, 2022) — Princeton City Council approves a resolution in opposition to the proposed railroad-merger that would directly impact residents, business, and emergency responses in the river town.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 4, 2022) — Scott County Recorder Rita Vargas and the Iowa County Recorders Association wants to make all veterans aware that recording or requesting military records should always free of charge for a veteran. In recent weeks, it has been reported that a third-party company has been charging veterans to record these documents. EAST MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 13, 2022) — The new public library in East Moline is a reality, thanks to a crucial state grant delivered by State Representative Mike Halpin.

Rep Halpin (D-Rock Island) joined officials Monday, September 12, at the grand opening for the new East Moline Public Library, which received $2.65 million in state funding.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (September 8, 2022) — The community is invited to take part in the Moline Public Library’s Shred Day, on Saturday, October 1, 9AM-12PM, in the Library’s parking lot. Bring personal documents in for secure destruction by Shred-it, using an on-site document-destruction truck. Those participating are asked to limit documents to two normal-size file/paper boxes of documents per vehicle.
