(DES MOINES) – In cooperation with Gov. Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, 24 security forces personnel from the Iowa Air National Guard will deploy on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, to support response operations for Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

Last week Cuba was hard hit by Hurricane Irma. While the blockade of Cuba and many of the US Treasury Laws make direct aid difficult, this is one way that US folks can give.

Valley Construction has led an effort throughout the Quad Cities to help residents in Houston affected by Hurricane Harvey by collecting supplies in order to fill two semi-trailers to deliver to the Houston area.
