Valley Construction has led an effort throughout the Quad Cities to help residents in Houston affected by Hurricane Harvey by collecting supplies in order to fill two semi-trailers to deliver to the Houston area.

(DES MOINES) – In cooperation with Gov. Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, 19 Soldiers, two CH-47F Chinook helicopters, and two LUH-72 Lakota helicopters from the Iowa Army National Guard will deploy on Sept. 11 to support response operations for Hurricane Irma.

The team is comprised as follows:

At 10:30 a.m., Sept. 7, two C-130 cargo planes and 14 personnel from the 182nd Airlift Wing based in Peoria, Illinois, took off to support relief and response efforts in the wake of Irma.
