Iowa Donor Network Earns Tier 1 Designation

NORTH LIBERTY, IOWA (April 27, 2022) — Iowa Donor Network has been designated a Tier 1 organization — the highest possible rating — for efficiency and optimization by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Of 57 organ donor organizations nationwide, fewer than half (20) have achieved this level of excellence.

A portion of each group will be a presentation with time to discuss afterward. This group is open to people with a current prostate-cancer diagnosis, survivors, significant others, spouses, caregivers, and care-partners.

Disability Rights Iowa Writes Amicus Brief in 8th Circuit Court of Appeals Case

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 16, 2022) — People with disabilities have long fought for their right to reasonable accommodation. In a case that has been appealed to the 8th Circuit, an Iowan woman is requesting a reasonable accommodation that her landlord accept a Housing Voucher to pay her rent in full, due to her inability to work caused by her disability.
