DES MOINES, IOWA (March 19, 2019) — In response to Governor Kim Reynolds' disaster declarations for many Iowa counties, the Iowa Department of Revenue has granted a 30-day extension and suspension of any penalty or interest for taxpayers whose principal residence or business is located in the disaster areas and whose payment or return is due on or before March 31. This includes all tax types.

WASHINGTON DC (March 19, 2019) — The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in coordination with the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), invites the public to register to attend the first meeting of the 2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee. The meeting will be held at USDA headquarters in the Jefferson Auditorium on March 28th and 29th. Registration for in-person attendance begins today and closes at 5PM, March 26, 2019.
