DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 28, 2019) — Sexual Assault Awareness Month will be observed from April 1, 2019 through April 30, 2019.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 27, 2019) — April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, which is dedicated to raising awareness of child abuse and highlighting ways to prevent it throughout the United States. Locally, the Child Abuse Council is hosting a number of activities to help the community come together and recognize that every child in the Quad Cities deserves a safe, healthy and happy childhood.

SCOTT COUNTY, IOWA (March 27, 2019) — Tony Knobbe, Scott Emergency Communication Center Board Chair, announces that David Donovan has accepted employment as Scott Emergency Communication Center (SECC) Director with a salary of $129,709. The appointment was approved by the SECC Board at their meeting March 21, 2019. Donovan was appointed interim SECC director on December 8, 2019 following the resignation of the previous director. Donovan’s position title will be SECC/EMA Director.
