Iowa's Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day a Huge Success with Over Forty Schools Participating

CORALVILLE, IOWA (May 28, 2024) — Iowa celebrated a remarkable success with this year's Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day, with over forty schools from across the state participating in the event. This strong turnout has earned Iowa the distinction of being ranked eleventh in the nation for the most schools participating per capita in this important initiative.

River Bend Food Bank Ribbon-Cutting August 1

DAVENPORT, IOWA (May 24, 2024) — River Bend Food Bank will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate their expansion on Thursday, August 1, 2024, 4PM. They are located at 4010 Kimmel Drive in Davenport, Iowa.

This expansion will allow us a more secure and accessible delivery and pick-up of food, increasing space for volunteer groups, and growing programs and services to meet the next generation of challenges for the community.

Iowa Bicycle Coalition to Host Fundraiser on May 22 for BMX and Community Action Sports Complex
