DES MOINES, IOWA (April 12, 2019) – Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate will speak at the kickoff of the 91st Iowa FFA Leadership Conference in Ames on Monday, April 15, at 4PM. The Conference will be held at The Hilton Coliseum, 1705 Center Drive, Ames, Iowa. There, all eligible attendees will be asked to register to vote. Voter-registration forms will be distributed by each school’s FFA advisor.

WASHINGTON DC (April 12, 2019) — In March, Senator Charles "Chuck" Grassley was joined by Sens Tina Smith of Minnesota and Joni Ernst of Iowa in introducing the Net Price Calculator Improvement Act, the Understanding the True Cost of College Act, and the Know Before You Owe Federal Student Loan Act to help students better understand the cost of college. Since the introduction of the three bills, multiple education-groups have endorsed the bills.
