DES MOINES, IOWA (April 25, 2019) — Today, Governor Kim Reynolds announced that the Governor’s 2019 Future Ready Iowa Summit has sold out, with Iowans reserving more than 1,000 seats for the public statewide gathering in Des Moines on Tuesday, April 30. This year’s summit is titled “STEM Education + Workplace Partnerships,” and it is hosted by the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council.

SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS (April 24, 2019) — The Illinois Public Pension Fund Association (IPPFA) has urged members of the Illinois House of Representatives to pass the First-Responders Suicide Prevention Act, a bill that would make mental-health services more accessible to those who regularly deal with traumatic situations and often suffer psychological issues as a result.
