Gov Kim Reynolds Signs Ag-Trespass Legislation into Law

DES MOINES — Today, Governor Kim Kim Reynolds signed S.F. 519 into law following a bipartisan vote by both the Iowa House of Representatives and the Iowa State Senate earlier this week. She was joined by lawmakers, farmers, and leaders of the ag industry.

Gov Kim Reynolds Issues Disaster Proclamation

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 14, 2019) — Governor Kim Reynolds issued a disaster-proclamation today for the State of Iowa in response to flooding and severe-weather beginning March 13 and continuing. Earlier today, she activated Iowa's State Emergency Operations Center to coordinate the response to Iowa's flooding.

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 14, 2019) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate applauds Governor Kim Reynolds for streamlining the process for felons seeking to have their voting-rights restored. This week, the Governor’s Office unveiled a new application that is simpler and easier to understand.

“The process of having your voting rights restored by the Governor is not complicated,” Sec Pate said. “I encourage felons who want to vote to look at the process and take the necessary steps.”
