EASTLAKE, OHIO (April 30, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits used a pair of home-runs to build a big cushion and then managed to hold off a late push by the Lake County Captains in a 6-5 victory Tuesday night.  The game was played in front of 1,063 fans at Classic Park.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (April 29, 2019) — Families, volunteers, and spectators are invited to cheer on all Special Olympics Illinois athletes as they compete in the 2019 Region F Spring Games. The annual event takes place on Saturday, May 4, 10AM–4PM. Region F Spring Games is hosted by Sunnylane Athletic Field (438 S Sunnylane, Monmouth, Illinois.).

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 28, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits split a doubleheader with the Clinton LumberKings on Sunday afternoon at Modern Woodmen Park. The River Bandits scored five runs in the fifth inning of the first game to pull away for a 6-1 victory. Clinton bounced back with a 3-1 victory in the nightcap as the teams also split the four-game series.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 27, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits cancelled their Saturday-night game with the Clinton Lumberkings due to rain. This game will not be made up as the two teams do not meet again in the first-half. Earlier today, the first game of the scheduled double-header was postponed and moved to Sunday.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 27, 2019) ― The Quad Cities River Bandits, in conjunction with the Houston Astros, have announced the following changes to their roster on Saturday. Pitchers Jonathan Bermudez and Felipe Tejada have been transferred from extended spring-training to Quad Cities. Pitchers Cody Deason and Matt Ruppenthal have been transferred from Quad Cities to extended spring-training.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (April 27, 2019) — The Quad Cities River Bandits waited a long time to play their first home game of 2019. The conclusion to their home-opener turned out to be well worth the wait as Alex Holderbach’s walk-off two-run home-run in the bottom of the 12th-inning gave the River Bandits a 7-6 victory over the Clinton LumberKings on Friday night at Modern Woodmen Park.

 

QUAD CITIES (April 26, 2019) — The Quad City Rollers, the QCA's premier all-female flat-track roller-derby team, are hosting two games this month, one on May 4 and the second on May 18 at the Eldridge Community Skate Park. May 4:

Doors open at 5:30PM. The first game will be the a Junior Derby Bout when the Orphan Brigade takes on The Derby Devils from Osage, IA and will begin at 6PM.

QUAD CITIES (April 25, 2019) — On Saturday, April 27, Spring Forward Soccer Clubs will play round-robin matches at Augustana's soccer-field (Pepsico Center). The young players cannot wait to take the "big stage" and play on the field where the Augie Vikings and other college teams play (flyer Attached).

CLINTON, IOWA (April 25, 2019) — The Clinton LumberKings scored five runs over the final two-innings to turn a tie game into a series-opening 7-2 victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits on Thursday afternoon at Ashford University Field. The game was the final contest in a stretch of 19 consecutive games away from Modern Woodmen Park for the River Bandits to open the season.
