Quad Cities edges Kane County 6-3 in final meeting

GENEVA, Illinois – The River Bandits beat the Kane County Cougars 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon at Northwestern Medicine Field in the final regular season meeting of 2017. Carson LaRue earned his 11th win, tying him for the Midwest League lead. Troy Sieber went 3-for-3 and reached base five times.

Throwback Saturday features over 80 Model A Vehicles

AMANA, Iowa- Throwback Saturday is set for August 19, 2017 in the Amana Colonies and will feature over 80 Model A Vehicles as part of the festivities.  An entire street will be temporarily closed for part of the day as the Model A cars and trucks take over that section of the village.  The cars will be on display from approximately 10am to 3pm.

CLINTON, Iowa – The River Bandits beat the LumberKings 6-1 in the second game of Thursday’s doubleheader at Ashford University Field. Abraham Toro-Hernandez homered in his first at-bat as a River Bandit.  Salvador Montano earned the win out of relief.
