Throwback Saturday features over 80 Model A Vehicles

AMANA, Iowa- Throwback Saturday is set for August 19, 2017 in the Amana Colonies and will feature over 80 Model A Vehicles as part of the festivities.  An entire street will be temporarily closed for part of the day as the Model A cars and trucks take over that section of the village.  The cars will be on display from approximately 10am to 3pm. 

Attendees Who Have Not Missed A Single Day in 40 Years To Be Honored JOHNSTON, IOWA (June 26,2017) - Stockman's Inn, in conjunction with the Iowa State Fair, will hold a ceremony on Sunday, August 20, 2017 beginning at 11:30 am to acknowledge and recognize those persons who have attended the Iowa State Fair every day for the last forty (40) years or more.

The Scott County Conservation Board is announcing that the Scott County Park equestrian trails will be closed to the general public Friday, August 4th through Sunday August 6th due to a special event being held for an off-road bike race.

Responsible Gaming Education Week (RGEW) will be held July 31st - August 4th at each of the 19 state-regulated licensed casinos who are members of the Iowa Gaming Association (IGA). Each casino location will offer several activities to heighten awareness and involve its staff and patrons.
