CLIVE, Iowa, Sept. 6, 2017 –  A trip to the emergency room Sunday with her son ended with a $100,000 lottery win for a Davenport woman.

Amy Conrad claimed the fifth of eight top prizes of $100,000 available in the Iowa Lottery’s “Cash In” scratch game.

Quad City Motorcyclists will suit up for Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

PEORIA, Ill. -- Two ninth-inning walks led to a walk-off single by Evan Mendoza to down the Quad Cities River Bandits, 4-3, to the Peoria Chiefs Wednesday night at Dozer Park. The Bandits were left standing by Peoria three times in the regular season as well. Chas McCormick had a pair of hits and an RBI while Josh Rojas and Kristian Trompiz also drove in runs for Quad Cities.

80’s -Themed Iowa City Zombie March supporting multiple charities.

Iowa City, Iowa – The 12th Annual Iowa City Zombie March is lurching where no zombie has lurched before to support local charities. The march, featuring an 80s theme, will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at 5 p.m. at Happy Hollow Park in Iowa City, ending with an after party at The Mill. Assistance with zombie make-up will be available at 3:30 p.m., with the march beginning promptly at 5 p.m.
