DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 21, 2019) — Discover the story of the book through The Traveling History of the Book Exhibit. This exhibit was created as a result of the creative collaboration between the Iowa Center for the Book and the University of Iowa Center for the Book. The Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center hosts this "hands-on" exhibit which showcases historically accurate replicas of the book throughout history.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 19, 2019) — One Human Family — Quad Cities will be hosting the Responding to the Many Faces of Hate Symposium on April 13 from 10 am until 3:30PM at the Eastern Iowa Community College Urban Campus at 101 W 3rd Street in Davenport. There will be three panel discussions led by a panel of local experts from the Quad City area.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 19, 2019) — The next meeting of the Quad Cities Flood Resiliency Alliance will be held on February 28, 2019 at 1:30PM in the City Hall Community Room in Riverdale, Iowa. The Alliance is open to the public and is a forum for timely and educational information on flood prevention, mitigation, flood insurance and floodplain management.
